This free initial visit involves meeting with the client, explaining our products, services and processes, and identifying possible partnership opportunities. Our consultant will take you through a series of questions in order to identify the requirements and any ‘gaps’ between where the school’s present environment stands today and where they would like to be in the future. Our consultant can then offer various proposals suggesting which steps from the Reflexistep process is most applicable. We can offer you a suggested path and provide you with a quotation to ensure your project meets your expectations.

Your outdoor environment will form an integral part of your overall school design. Similarly we recognize that everyone has individual requirements. It is our aim to work with you to achieve the best possible landscape design within those parameters. This service covers a facet of areas including: grant application, brief development, group consultations, professional advice on all aspects of outdoor environments, site suitability and playground audits. Both technical guidance or recommendations and general design advice are offered. The consultation is tailored to the client’s specific goals and requirements. If the client is not clear on their requirements, Reflexion can help them assess their particular circumstances, determine their needs and assist them in identifying their priorities and goals. Then a path forward to achieving these goals can be discussed. To find out more about this service, please speak to your Reflexion consultant.

Conceptual Design is the transformation of the client’s thoughts and ideas into a visual representation of what the finished environment will look like in the context of the existing surrounds. Should you wish to have a tailor-made design, our main role will be to identify and provide you with an innovative solution that can enhance your environment. It is our goal to create an environment that is functional, usable, yet visually appealing. Every design process begins by identifying and analysing the need, and defining it in terms of the design requirements. Clarifying and quantifying the design task helps the designer to gain crucial insights that will facilitate the creation of innovative design. You can choose to have a single conceptual area designed or an overall masterplan design, which usually encompasses 4-5 areas.

The documentation phase is a critical phase in design where detailed drawings are created and budgets are established. Our designers will prepare detailed documentation drawings and specifications. Drawings consist of plan and elevation views of the solution with dimensions added. All designs are precise and drawn to scale. Your documentation package will contain: Documentation Drawings, Specifications, Minor Works Contract and Fixed Fee Costings. This package enables you to make an informed decision as to whether you will move to the next phase in the Reflexistep process: Construction.
.
During this phase, your drawings are converted to the final finished product. Our fully qualified construction team pride themselves on completing projects to a high quality standard. They following stringent OH&S controls to make sure the work site remains a safe environment over the duration of the project. Obtaining building permits are also part of this service if they are required.
